The 2010 BMW 328i uses a blue coolant for European vehicles in the engine. It is important that You do not mix different types of coolant in Your vehicle because that can lead to corrosion in Your cooling system. If You have low coolant in Your BMW and You are unsure about Your coolant type the safest thing to do is top it off with distilled water. This can lower the cooling capacity of the system slightly, but it will not cause any corrosion or permanent damage to the vehicle. Most BMW dealerships will use an OEM type of coolant, and third party shops usually use a generic variant of the OEM coolant, these two types can work well together.
