The starter motor in a 2010 Chrysler 300 can be found on the driver's side of the engine at the base of it above the steering arm. This is the electronic motor that is used to start Your engine when You press the start button on Your dash. If You notice that there is a grinding or clicking noise coming from Your starter and the car will not start that is a sign of a failure within the motor. This can be caused by either a damaged gear or damaged stator that is used to rotate the shaft for the starter. If You have no sound coming from Your starter at all then I recommend checking the battery and try jump starting the car to make sure that it is not dead.
