On the 2010 Honda CR-V, You'll need to use a dual pump II rear differential fluid, preferably Honda's proprietary blend. However, in its absence, there are several other approved dual pump II fluids that meet the same specification. Your capacity will be around 2.5 pints, and it's important that You perform this change around the 80,000 mile service interval. However, it's quite possible that You'll need to perform it sooner, especially if the rear differential fluid is low or broken down. It's wise to check it from time to time, especially if You're getting undue noise from the rear diff. If You have a bad seal, it's possible that You're leaking fluid; before You just top off, it's recommended that You change the failed seal as soon as possible.

The differential fluid for a 2010 honda cr-v is genuine honda differential fluid or another 80w gear oil.
