You should only use a high-quality ethylene glycol based coolant in the 2010 HyundaiAccent that is designed for aluminum radiators. The coolant should be inspected at least once per year and drained and filled every two years. The coolant reservoir is on the passenger side of the engine compartment, near the firewall. The coolant level should be between the "L" and "F" lines on the reservoir when the engine is cold. If it is below the L mark, fill with the recommended coolant until it is within the appropriate range. The coolant is not only designed to prevent the engine from freezing, it also helps lubricate the water pump. Check the concentration level before winter sets in to ensure proper protection.

The 2010 hyundai accent commonly uses peak oe coolant which is green in color. It can be a 50/50 prediluted mix or a concentrate that needs to be diluted with distilled water.
