The 2010 Nissan Versa uses a fuel pump to move the gas from the tank to the engine. The pump is powered like any other electronic component of the vehicle and has a fuse and a relay that must be intact to pass the voltage to the pump. The relay is located in the underhood fuse panel. The panel is on the driver side of the engine bay between the battery and the shock mount. The relay is in the far right row of the panel, second down from the top. If the relay is bad, You will have problems starting the engine. It can also fail intermittently so You may be able to start the engine but not keep it running.
