The crankshaft position sensor for a 2011 Nissan Sentra can be found under the hood of the vehicle. You're going to need to open up the driver's door and hit the hood release button and then prop up the hood. Now go ahead and look towards the rear of the engine block. You may need to get on a stool in order to reach all the way back. It will be between the firewall and the rear of the engine. If You need a new sensor it will cost between $25 and $55. I would go ahead and go with an OEM part on this. It may cost a bit more but it's worth it.
