The 2012 Acura TSX requires SAE 0W-20 full synthetic motor oil. The oil capacity iS4.2 quarts with the oil filter. The oil and oil filter should be changed roughly every 7,500 miles. Depending on your driving habits you may need to change it sooner. You should be sure that your newly purchased filter has a thread size of 20mm. After loosening the oil drain plug it is recommended that you replace the washer. The torque to which it should be tightened iS30 lb-ft. You will need a 17 mm socket to remove the plug. After filling refilling the oil be sure to check the oil level using the dipstick. The oil should be between the two indicators (i.e., holes) toward the bottom of the stick.
