What's the 2012 Chevy Equinox oil pressure sensor location?

The oil pressure sensor in a 2012 Chevy Equinox can be found at the lower part of the engine near the oil filter housing itself. There are three wires that go to a sensor here and that is what You will be looking for. The oil pressure sensor is designed to do exactly what it sounds like it would do, measure the oil pressure in Your engine. If this is failing You will notice the gauge on Your dash not displaying the correct oil pressure. This can also lead to the ECU not knowing how much oil is moving through the engine and that can lead to the oil pump not running properly as well. I recommend replacing the sensor if it starts to fail.
