The fuel filter for a 2012 Ford Focus SE is going to be located inside of the fuel tank. You're going to need to put this vehicle up on jacks in order to work on it. This vehicle is going to weight about 3000 pounds so You'll be fine using a 2 ton jack to lift it up. Once You have it lifted You're going to need to take of the fuel pump assembly and You're going to be able to see the fuel filter pretty clearly from here. A replacement filter is going to cost between $30 and $80 depending on where You shop.
