What's the 2012 mercedes cls550 battery location?

The 2012 Mercedes CLS550 has two batteries in it, the main one in the trunk the auxiliary battery behind the driver side of the dash. The main battery, the one in the trunk is a group size 49 H8. If You need to replace it there is a good chance at dead and the trunk release button on the drivers door panel is it going to work. You have to use a battery charger to connect to the jump point below the carpeting on the passenger side, it is on the firewall. Pull the carpet back, grab it at the top and pull down. There is a sheet of foam below the carpet carefully remove it so You don't break it. Behind the foam is a metal cover with three 10-millimeter bolts, two along the bottom and one up at the top. Remove them with a 10-millimeter socket and ratchet. Once You remove the metal panel the jump point will be right behind it. Connect the positive lead to the red cable on the lower right corner of the jump point in the negative lead to the square plate just above the jump point. Give it a few minutes and then press the trunk release button, the battery will be on Your right-hand side in the trunk.
