In the 2012 Nissan Altima, the OBD-II port will be powered by two different fuses -- they're also used for the cigarette lighter outlets (auxiliary power). Particularly, You'll find them in the interior fuse panel, which can be found to the lower left of the steering column, near the left side of the driver's kick panel. You'll be looking for fuses at positionS5 and 18; at 5, You'll have a 20 ampere fuse, and at 18, You'll have a 15 ampere. Of course, if You're blowing fuses, You've got a larger problem to worry about. In the case of the auxiliary power outlet fuses, there's most likely a problem with one of the outlets, or with the wiring itself. If You've gone through a fuse or two, it's worth checking out the rest of the system in order to avoid the problem in the future.
