The ECU relay for the 2012 Nissan Frontier is located in the instrument panel fuse box which is behind the glove compartment door to the right. It is a 10 amp fuse in cavity number 1. The fuse may require replacement if it has any issues or has begun to fail. Symptoms You will notice include no power when inserting Your key, failure to start, and a drained battery. Generally failure of the relay will cut power to the rest of the vehicle. A short in the relay can cause power to remain for the computer even after turning off the car. This in turn will cause the battery to drain and die. Given the ECU is essential to quite literally every other component in the car You should have the relay replaced immediately.
