The ECM relay on the 2012 Nissan Titan is located in the engine bay, so You'll need to pop Your hood with the inside lever and then lift it so You can access the inner components. You'll be looking towards the passenger side of the bay, right beneath the windshield in the far left corner. You should see a small plastic compartment and a grey plastic lid which needs to be removed to access the relays. Once You've lifted that off, You should be able to easily identify the ECM relay, as it's going to be the only green one on the left side, and is pretty large: it should be second from the top. Problems that are indicative of a fault with the ECM relay will be Your engine missing, spitting, popping, and also, most noticeable, Your Titan not being able to accelerate past 35 mph.

If you have the black ipdm box. If you are looking at the IPDM The STARTER RELAY SWITCH is the third switch from the left. If you are looking left to right. If you are looking right to left it’s the first switch. It should be sitting long ways. Not on its side.
