The fuel filter is part of a module that is both the pump and filter located in the fuel tank on the 2013 Honda CR-V. The filter should last the life of the vehicle. If the fuel filter is faulty You will need to replace the entire fuel pump assembly. This will require dropping the fuel tank. The fuel filter in Your car helps deliver clean gasoline to Your vehicle's engine while also protecting the fuel injectors. Some warning signs that Your fuel filter is clogged are difficulty starting or will not start at all, a rough idle, and struggling at low speed.

The fuel filter/pump module is located in the fuel tank however on the CRV it can be accessed under the left rear seat under the carpet. Release the seat so it will tilt forward toward the front driver's seat. Lift up the carpet. Remove the screws holding the access plate. Remove access plate and you will see the module. Should be an easy repair.
