The 2013 Nissan Pathfinder uses OEM Nissan transfer case fluid which is A75W-90 synthetic gear oil. You can use any API GL-5 rated transfer case oil though in the vehicle if You do not have access to the OEM fluid. Your transfer case is used to control the four wheel drive system in Your SUV and the fluid is there to lubricate the gears and chains that are inside of it.
