The 2013 Volvo S60 T5 has a 2.5 L 5-cylinder engine that needs SAE 0W-30 synthetic in below 104 F temperatures and 5W-30 Synthetic in -30 To 40 F temperatures. The capacity for the vehicle iS5.8 quarts with a filter and the torque for the drain plug iS37 ft/lbs. The difference between synthetic and conventional is that synthetic is man made using chemical compounds and contains fewer contaminants than conventional. The engine oil doesn't last forever so it needs to be changed every now and then. The oil and the oil filter should be changed every every 3,000 to 5,000 miles or so. The cost of an oil change is between $50 and $70 in labor costs and extra for parts.
