The auxiliary battery in a 2014 Mercedes ML350 can be found under the passenger seat in the vehicle. Correction!!! The main battery in a 2014 ML 350 is under the passenger seat! The auxiliary battery is found adjacent to the rear cargo area in the back passenger corner. An interior panel must be removed to access it.

The auxiliary battery is in the cargo area in the BACK right passenger side in the corner……….. I JUST CHANGED MY TODAY……….Please people get it right !!!!!!!!
It is still not clear: Is the auxiliary battery under the passenger seat or is it in the rear cargo area?

Trunk area , passengers side. You will find a panel on the left hand side, remove it. Behind and about an inch below towards the rear you will find you auxiliary battery. To replace it you will either need to take the spare tire out and all the surrounding carpet area OR you can cut the carpet below that panel box and lift it up and you can replace it that way. Before you do anything double check that it is there, if you place you hand in the open panel box you can feel it. It will have to pieces that stand up so you will know that you are in the right place.
