The thermostat on Your 2015 Chevrolet Colorado is located on the bottom side inlet of the motor, under the housing close to the water pump. You can pick up a replacement one, which includes the housing assembly, from AutoZone for around $40; that's going to be the Duralast 93103. Swapping the old for the new is as simple as removing the engine harness wires and unscrewing, and then screwing in the new one and re-attaching the wires. Symptoms of this part failing will typically be Your engine overheating, or Your temperature gauge not registering the engine temp at all; usually You'll get a check engine light and a related diagnostic code when this happens.
