The fuel filter in a 2015 Ford Expedition can be found in the fuel sending unit that is located in the gas tank at the back of the vehicle. On a lot of newer cars this has become normal since having an in-line filter was a weak point for the fuel lines so it made more sense to place them in the tank. The fuel filter in Your vehicle is designed to help clean the gasoline and keep contaminants and particulate matter out of the fuel lines, rails, and injectors where they could cause clogs and damage. If Your filter is clogged up with debris You will notice a decrease in fuel pressure and may also notice that Your car does not run as well.
