The ambient temperature sensor on Your 2015 Hyundai Sonata is located on the lower grill on the front bumper of Your vehicle, so it's pretty accessible. To remove it, You'll want to first disconnect the ground connection to Your battery, as this sensor is hooked into the electrical system. Then, go ahead and disconnect the sensor, after You've removed the grille so You can easily access it. There's simply a plastic clip that You push to effect the disconnect here. Set the wires aside, and unscrew the retaining screw holding the sensor to the frame. Now, You can simply twist the sensor and pull it out from the bracket. To install the new sensor, just reverse the above process.
