The 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee came with two brake options, the standard duty and the heavy duty brakes. There is one really easy way to be able to tell which brakes You have. If the rear rotors on Your Grand Cherokee have holes or slots drilled into them for ventilation then You have the heavy duty brakes, if they are solid standard rotors then You have the standard duty brakes. The heavy duty brakes were usually sold on the Grand Cherokee models that have a V8 in them because the increased power meant that they needed bigger brakes to be able to stop as well as they accelerate. You can also change out standard duty brakes for the heavy duty brakes by using a kit.
