The key fob battery in a 2015 Nissan Rogue is a CR2032 3 volt battery that is shaped like a small disc. If You happen to notice problems with Your key fob replacing the battery is the most likely thing that will solve them. The battery in Your key fob powers the transponder in it and that communicates with the receiver in Your car. This communication is what allows Your vehicle to lock, unlock, and start. When You need to replace the battery You will have to pry apart Your fob at the center to get the old battery out. Be sure to install the new battery in the same way the old one came out to keep the polarity correct.
