What's the 2016 Chevy Malibu parking brake location?

The 2016 Chevy Malibu parking brake will be located in the center console on the right side of the gear shift. The button will be labeled with a P and when You press it this will engage the parking brake and You will see an amber parking brake light when it is on. This is an electronic parking brake (EPB) and if You try to drive with it on it will automatically turn off when the car is in motion. You will want to make sure You avoid leaving the EPB on when the ignition is off because it will drain the battery. When You apply the EPB will flash and stay on once it is fully applied. If the light flashes continuously then it is indicative that the brake is only partially applied or there is a problem with the switch.
