The key fob for the 2016 Nissan Sentra takes a 3V CR2025 battery. These are usually sold in a pack of two for $5 to $10. You can pay to have the battery changed at the dealership, but it's a pretty simple process to do Yourself. On the backside of the key fob, You should see a small lever. Pull down on it and the backup key will be released from the assembly. Use the tip of a flat-head screwdriver to open the back. The opening is directly above the backup key's storage spot. The old key should be able to easily be removed with Your finger. Replace it with the new one. The plus sign will be facing the back portion of the casing. Snap the two pieces back together and insert the backup key in its proper place. If it doesn't work on the doors, You may need to reprogRam it.

I replaced the CR2025 battery in my 2016 Key fab due to the low battery indicator. Two days latter the low battery indicator came back on. What could be the problem. The batteries were just purchased
