The 2017 GMC Acadia subwoofer can be found under the front seats of the vehicle. There are two separate shallow mount woofers that are installed under the seats. There are kits available on the market if You would like to upgrade these subwoofers to new ones. You can replace them with speakers that will have more output if You are looking to get more bass out of Your vehicle. If You really want extra bass You can also try adding subwoofers to the rear of the car as well. There are kits and custom fabrication that can be done to built subwoofers into the side of the cargo compartment to give You better Audio response from the vehicle.

With a higher trim level you can get the Bose sound system option and the subwoofer is located between the driver and passenger seat, forward of the shifter, under the dash.
