The oil drain plug on Your 2018 Hyundai Elantra requireS30 LB-FT of torque to properly seal. You want to be very careful when reinstalling the plug since it is very easy to over tighten the bolt and strip the threads. If this happens You will need to use a thread repair kit which are not the easiest things to work with. You also need to be careful not to under torque the bolt since that will stop the washer from fully setting against the drain pan which will eventually allow a leak which can lead to a low oil situation and then to engine damage.
