The oil filter for Your 2019 Buick Encore is going to be located underneath Your vehicle, hidden by the splash guard. Remove that, and You'll see Your oil pan as well as Your filter. There are two different possible filters You'll need, depending on whether You've got the 1.4 LUV engine or the 1.4 LE2 engine. (For the former, the letter 'B' is in the middle of Your vehicle identification number, for the latter, there'll be an 'M' in that place instead). For the LUV, You'll want the GM part # 55594651, or the ACDelco part #PF2257G. For the LE2, You'll instead need the GM part #12640445, or ACDelco part #PF64. Amazon carries both of these, and they run about ten bucks there.
