The 2019 Hyundai Tucson can use 5 quarts of oil. Hyundai recommends putting in SAE 5W-30, though You can go to 5W-40 as well, for a bit of an improvement in performance. It's recommended to use a synthetic, rather than a conventional oil for this vehicle, for increased time between oil changes as well as better engine health over-all. If You're using a synthetic, You should change Your oil every 7,500 miles, or once a year, whichever of those events occur first. Bear in mind that when You change the oil, You should change the oil filter as well.

If the dipstick is yellow, yes, if it is RED, no! If the dipstick is RED it is 5.0 to 5.3 US Quarts.
