The oil filter in a 2019 Nissan Frontier can be found under the engine on the passenger side of the motor. This is a standard metal threaded filter and You will need to replace it every time that You change the oil in Your car. It is a good idea to never run new oil through an old filter since it can pick up some of the contaminants and that can ruin the new oil much sooner. Also when You install a new oil filter I recommend that You install it only hand tight. If You over tighten the filter in Your car it can get seized on since it will heat cycle with the engine and expand and contract.
