As the owner of a BMW, You will one day find that if something is amiss, a trouble code will appear on Your dash. One of those codes may be a6cf. When You see it, it indicates that a problem has occurred with the AUC sensor. The first thing You should do is check the wiring to the sensor. If it is worn or damaged, You may need to have it replaced. If the AUC sensor has gone bad, You will need to replace it. You will most likely pay between $67 and $144 for the part alone. If You choose to have it replaced by a professional mechanic, You may pay between $90 and $187 for labor.
