The 2004 Acura MDX does come equipped with an Aux input as stated by the manufacturer. The Auxiliary is located on the lower right side faceplate of the stereo reciever on the center of the dashboard. The Aux port is a great way to listen to media from Your phone, iPod, or other mobile devices. You can essentially plug a cord into the 3.5mm jack and then plug the other end into the Auxiliary jack of the car and it will allow You to play whatever media sounds through Your car's speakers. One thing to remember is the jack does need to be secure or it will not allow You to switch over to the AUX media source. Sometimes the Aux jack will become loose from wear and tear when plugging and unplugging the cord so double check that it is plugged in tight to avoid any issues.
