The wheel lock key on the Acura MDX is located in the trunk of the car. It is fixed near the spare tire. It is very important for preventing Your car from theft. Newer cars come with locking lug nuts on each wheel and have a cut inside each lug and need a key to be unlocked when removing the wheels. A wheel lock key usually wears out from repeated use. When this happens, and You cannot remove the wheel locks with the tools You have. In this case, You can either call the mechanic to help open the wheel locks, or visit Your dealership to remove the locks and provide You with a spare wheel.

Mine is in small black pouch with spare lug, place in glove compartment. I don't know if the dealer put it there or the factory.

Acura’s don’t have a spare tire. They come with a small air pump pre filled with fix a flat.
