The code B1237 for the Honda Civic will indicate that Your passenger side air mix control motor is having issues. Some of the symptoms that You will notice is the engine light illuminated as well as the air control mix motor is not working properly. Some of the possible causes for the issue are a faulty passenger side air mix motor, motor wiring harness is shorted or damaged, poor electrical connection at the circuit or a faulty climate control unit. It can be hard to pinpoint these issues and You will have to do some inspecting as well as trial and error to find out what it could be. The first thing is to check the wiring and then replace the control motor which is one of the more common issues.

Are you guys sure you are giving accurate information? The B1237 has nothing to do with airbags,. It means "Maintenance Needed Soon". Each number corresponds with the type of maintenance needed. The 1 is for oil change. Basically, the car is recommending you get Engine Oil & Filter Change, Replace Fuel Filter, and tire rotation. My guess is you are probably coming up on 60k miles or one of those milestones that require additional maintenance.

Well it can’t be both. Which of the two given answers are correct. Or does the code change depending on year model?
