The code P1250 on a BMW means that the PCM has registered a loss of power from the fuel pressure regulator control valve. The fuel pressure regulator valve is the part that controls the amount of and pressure of fuel that is sent to the injectors, it does this by opening or closing a valve inside the assembly. When this code is triggered You will also have specific symptoms that affect the drivability of the vehicle. The most noticeable one is going to be very rough or weak acceleration and another is stalling while at idle. Servicing the fuel system is a dangerous task so the vehicle should be taken to a service center to have the regulator replaced.
