There are multiple year models of the Chevrolet Avalanche: Which one, in particular, would you like to know the top speed of? For the most part, throughout the years, the top speed is going to be 95-98 mph. GM actually has a governor that shuts down the powertrain at 95, but under the right conditions, you can push it higher. JuSTSo we're on the same page, you realize that, even if you push your truck to this, the tires aren't rated for the speed, yeah? Trucks aren't really made for racing. Even so, you'd be interested to know that you've got around 325 pound feet of torque at 4,000 RPM and 285 horsepower at 5,400, so the Avalanche's engine's got a bit of power. Go get 'em with it, you speed demon!
I don’t push it to the limits, I drive it normal so it will last.
