The blower motor in a Chevy Traverse is located above the passenger side footwell area , on the firewall. If You are experiencing problems with Your blower to where You cannot increase or decrease the speed of it, it's highly likely that the resistor is bad, and needs replaced. The first thing You need to do is to remove the plastic cover from below the glove box. It is held in with two speed clips, if You're careful You can use a flat blade screwdriver to pop the head out and then remove the clip or they do make special tools that pretty much do the same thing. Once this cover is off You will see the blower motor right in the middle, look slightly to the left and back by the firewall is the resist her. You will see the wire going from the resistor into the blower motor.
