The Dodge Challenger rt top speed is 155 mph. The transmission fluid needs to be replaced every 30,000 to 60,000 miles. Along with fluid changes, terrible sounds will come from the transmission. Old transmission fluid will be awful to the ear. A worn out torque converter will cause a headache. The transmission is one of the most crucial parts of the vehicle. You will come into issues at some point. Hard shifts could come up and that is not good. You may experience shudders. The gears may become stuck. There might be jerking. If the transmission fluid leaks, that needs to be fixed quickly. Delayed shifts will cause acceleration issues. The transmission might slip.

Does changing your trans fluid every 30-60,000 mi apply to an automatic, as well?

I have a automatic 5.7 liter hemi all stock 2015 Challenger R/T and where it keeps track of top speed on the dash mine says 173MPH that's how fast I personally had it up to and I believe I could have gotten 180 MPH out of it

2012 Challenger R/T 5. 7 six speed was cruising 155mph @ about 5200 rpm. I'd say it should go at least 160
