The Ford F-150 has a rear axle code l9 that usually indicates that there is an issue with the 3.55 electronic locking differential. First, You should identify which axle is affected by looking at the axle ID tag found on the rear end housing unit. This is a spacious piece of sheet metal, which is usually attached to the housing by a bolt. If the e-lock needs to be replaced, it can cost between $38 and $148, depending on place of purchase.

No, to both of the above answers. The L9 in an F150 means that you have Electronic locking 3:73 gears.
I have a L9 with 3.73 so do I have a 8.8 or 9.75 ring and pinion
