If You would like to know what type of brake fluid to use on the 2003 Ford Ranger, I can help You with that. The recommended brake fluid on the Ranger is Motorcraft High Performance DOT 3 Motor Vehicle Brake Fluid. If You don't have access to that brake fluid, then I can list alternatives that can be more affordable. Some of the products that You can use are Prestone 12 Ounce DOT 3 Brake Fluid, Bosch Brake Fluid, or Valvoline 32 Ounce DOT 3, DOT 4 Brake Fluid. If You want my advice, check the brake power steering reservoir for the level of fluid just in case it gets too low. It usually doesn't get low unless there's a leak but it doesn't hurt to check.
