The Ford Transit's power door locks are controlled through fuses, electrical connections and 2 modules. If the Transit's doors will neither lock or unlock examine Fuse #78 for central locking to make sure it's functional. To test the central locking "receiver" locate the front interior light to remove the receiver from the Transit's ceiling. It will be affixed with Velcro and should emit a red light when the key fob is depressed. The actual central locking "module" is really the van's BCM, housed under the dash behind the gloveboxAnd fuse box on the passenger's side of the cabin. The cost to replace the BCM in a Transit averages $500-$550 in parts and labor.
The Ford transit mk7 central locking module is controlled by BCM but the receiver is under headlining.

It is there Eric, just a lot further over than you'd expect, mine was a good 6 inches toward the driver side. Karl, you need to open the plastic around the receiver to see any red light.
