The MultiAxis Acceleration Sensor in a Ford Transit is below the carpeting between the front seats. You will have to remove the seats first before You can get to the sensor. Before removing the seats, disconnect the negative battery terminal to avoid possibly shorting out something in the electrical system. Once the batteries disconnected unplug the electrical connectors below the seats and remove the bolts from the base and take the seats out. Pull the carpeting back and You will see the sensor right in front of the center of the dash bolted to the floor. Unplug the electrical connector going to the sensor and then remove the bolts holding the sensor to the floor.

The Ford Transit multi-axis acceleration sensors is located in the same housing as the rotation sensor in the engine bay.
