Honda uses a new system to let people know that they need maintenance done on their cars. This system uses a single letter, A or B, and then one to three digits after it to let You know what needs to be done. When You know what these letters and codes mean it is simple to determine what You need. If Your Civic has a code B124 that means that it will need B, which is an oil filter change and complete vehicle inspection. 1, which is to rotate the tires and make sure they are filled. 2, which is replace the air cleaner, and inspect the drive belt, and replace the cabin air filter. The final thing it will need iS4 which is replace the spark plugs, the timing belt, and inspect the water pump and valves.
