The 2000 CR-V has an OBD-II that can be found in the interior of the vehicle. It is easy to find. The first thing You will need to do is open the driver's side door of Your vehicle, and get in. Now, look at the steering column in front of You. Search the area beneath the steering wheel, under the dashboard. There You will see the port. If the port has gone bad, You will need to have it replaced. You can buy a new one at any automotive retail location. If it isn't in stock, You can likely order one. You will need to pay around $8 to $21 for the new port, depending on brand and quality.

On U.S. Models, it's on the driver's side, below the steering wheel and the shifter, just under the dash, to the right, near the center instrument tower
