The Honda CR-V wheel lock nut key is located in the rear cargo area under the trunk lining mat where the spare tire tools are located. Locking lug nuts won't make the wheels theft-proof but it might be a good investment if You are or will be parking in a theft-prone area. It's only a waste of money until some decided to do A5 finger discount on Your wheels.Locking nuts are sold with a code, so owners can order a new key from the maker. If You don't have the code, garages have tools able to remove most nuts.

Not in my car and it's really frustrating. The dealer handed me a sealed pack of locks w/ a key that I never did anything with, but I later learned there were already locks on the tires when a shop called me asking for the key when I was getting an oil change and trying to get the wheels rotated. The shop is primarily a tire place so they know what they're doing, but couldn't unlock the tires and looked everywhere for the key. I've triple-checked the spare tire area and it's not there. Only recourse is to take it to a dealer which is a pain, especially during Covid.

Not a "jerk", as those are placed by dealers during prep, and different dealers may put them in different places. I've even seen different techs at the same dealer do prep a bit differently, and some forget to put stuff where they're supposed to.
