The Honda Odyssey has a drain plug torque of 33 ft lbs. You can expect a common acceptable range of 30 to 36 ft lbs, however. If You find that someone has previously drained the plug, then it was likely done with an impact drill. This will widen the capacity range for the torque, if a torque wrench was not employed. You must always be careful when tightening the plug not to make it too tight, as that can strip any threads, and preventing it from being tightened further or in the future. Also be very care with the o-ring, to prevent damaging or breaking it and needing to have it replaced.
