In the Jeep Grand Cherokee, You'll typically find the microphone inside of the rearview mirror. This is useful information if You've got Your phone paired to the Jeep, and don't know where to project Your voice; typically, You'll just need to speak like the person is sitting next to You. It's set up in such a way that it should sufficiently amplify Your voice, and sufficiently drown out ambient sound. You should be able to see the microphone mesh if You know where to look, and You do so carefully. They do, from time to time, fail -- luckily, the swap is a relatively simple one. You'll also want to give Your wiring a second glance from time to time, since it can break down and eventually fail if You regularly reposition Your rearview mirror.
