The fifth injector on a Lexus IS220d can be found on the fuELRail at the fourth cylinder on the engine. This injector is known to have problems with the 220D and may need to be replaced. Usually You will notice excessive smoke from Your exhaust when there is a problem with this. That is because the engine is getting too much fuel and it is burning it off and creating a lot of smoke when it does that. Replacing it can be a tricky thing to do and will usually cost upwards of $1000 to do since it is difficult to get to. The main cost in this job is just the labor time for the shop to get it done.
