With proper maintenance, a Chevy Impala may be able to reacH200,000 miles. This however assumes a few things. The first is that You keep to the maintenance schedule. This can be found in the manual to the car. It will tell You when You need to change out parts, normally common things like spark plugs and oil, as well as less common like batteries. If You take the car in for tune-ups once a year then this will be done for You. The other thing to never do is ignore the check engine light. This is often just a reminder that something needs to be done, but if a part fails and You ignore it then a small thing can become a big thing quickly.

I got an 04 Impala with 140,000 miles. I got it with 84,000 miles in and after one year I've done the spark plugs, tires, rotors, brakes and still drives like brand new. This car is so dependable. I've done 54,000 miles in the span of 15 months. I've driven it from Raleigh to DC 25 times and about 6 times to Philly from rdu. Great car!!!!!!

I bought my 2015 Impala Limited in 2017 with 35000 miles on it. I use it for ridesharing. I now have 166,000 miles 40 months later. I have had issues with front wheel bearing assemblies but attribute that to Baltimore streets. Apart from maintenance no real problems. Hoping to get 300000 miles!

My 2007 Chevy impala ls has 213,647 miles on the odometer, and even after it was blasted by a doe going 65+ mph it stilll keeps kicking. It’s still my daily driver. The only thing that is currently having issues is the transmission. (It’s an automatic). And due to the hit it shakes horribly during hard acceleration due to the doe’s location of damage. As long as I don’t go past around 3/4s throttle it rides reliably and great.

My 2013 needed a new engine at 165k , transmission has well over 170k on it, as well as frame, she’s making noises, so expect major repairs , suspension ect at around 160k.
