The Mazda3 has a fuel cut off switch that can be found on the toe board in Your engine bay. This can be located in the area behind the footwell on the passenger side of the vehicle. This is the area that is just to the right of the transmission. If the switch is faulty, it will need to be replaced. This can cost You between $14 and $25, on average.
Is the fuel shutoff switch on the outside or the inside of the car

The fuel cutoff switch, also known as the inertia switch on the Mazda 3 is in the toe-board, to the right of the transmission hump, in the passenger-side footwell.
