The recommended power steering fluid to use in the 2015 Mazda5 is Mazda Genuine ATF M-III , M-V, or equivalent. The equivalent being something like Dexron II for example. You should inspect Your power steering fluid levels every couple of months just to make sure You're not getting too low. The reservoir can be found right next to Your engine coolant reservoir on the passenger side of the engine. It's important to make sure it doesn't get low because You can do damage to Your power steering pump when driving with low fluid levels for an extended period of time. If You notice the fluid decreasing quickly You may have a leak and You should take the vehicle in for an inspection. -

Your Mazda 5 uses Mazda ATF M-III or Dexron II automatic transmission fluid in its power steering assembly.
